This year we will be raising money to improve access to care for mental health.
Our community and providers have expressed concern about increasing mental healthcare needs. Last year, OMC served 1,458 unique patients with a primary or secondary diagnosis of depression and/or anxiety. Total encounters were 4,851 or an average of 22 encounters/patient.
Currently, OMC does not provide therapeutic mental health care or therapy but refers patients elsewhere.
Having mental healthcare services at OMC will allow patients to access that care quicker and provide the comprehensive care we desire at OMC: “Your whole life in One Place”. It will also help us to serve our community better in crisis.
Will you help us to raise $40,000 to develop this service? Come dressed in your Kentucky Derby finest attire (Dresses, Suits, and Hats) and enjoy a night of fun for this cause. We will have a hat contest and some fun horse racing games as well as our regular silent auction and raffle.
Thank you for keeping OMC a part of your giving priorities and supporting a vital partner in the community.
